PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL BY 3-WAVE DIODE LASER
Currently, the most modern, efficient and safe method of permanent hair removal is the treatment with the 3-wave diode laser. The technology is so innovative because it combines the three most effective laser wavelengths needed for hair removal. In this way, we can simultaneously address all areas of the hair root at different depths of the skin. The advantage is also that we can successfully treat even lighter or thinner hairs that could not be reached with conventional laser hair removal. In addition, the treatments can be painless and without side effects. They are much more pleasant than therapy with conventional systems and we can better protect your skin.
THE 3-WAVE DIODE LASER FOR HAIR REMOVAL COMBINES THREE RELEVANT WAVELENGTHS
ALEXANDRITE 755 NM WAVELENGTH
This is the lowest of the three penetration depths. It offers high energy absorption in melanin and is particularly suitable for fine and light hair. As a result of the low penetration depth, this wavelength is suitable for hair that is not so deep – such as on the eyebrows or upper lip.
DIODE LASER 808 NM WAVELENGTH
This is the classic wavelength that gives us an average penetration depth. Due to the lower absorption level in melanin, the light is also suitable for darker skin types. It works deep into the hair root and is ideal for areas such as arms, legs, cheeks or even the beard line.
ND:YAG-LASER 1064 NM WAVELENGTH
This wavelength is characterized by low absorption in melanin. For this reason, it is ideal for hair removal on darker skin types. The light can penetrate deep into the tissue and specifically treat deep-lying hair – e.g. in the armpits or in the intimate area. This is probably the most effective laser hair removal.
How often should you do hair removal treatment?
Most patients can have laser hair removal once every 4 to 6 weeks.
